SARDAR RAJA COLLEGES was founded in the year 1984 under the Chairmanship of Dr.S.A.Raja, a popular philanthropist and educationist from vadakangulam, near kanyakumari, the southern tip of INDIA. The Rajas Educational and Charitable Trust was established in order to serve the society by starting Educational Institutions, by which our aim of making Higher Education affordable to all the Poor and Backward students of our community, irrespective of caste, religion and creed, can be fulfilled.

In 1984, the first seed was sowed in the name S.A.Rajas Polytechnical college, under Raja Trust. In the subsequent years, Other colleges like The Indian Engineering College (TIEC), Rajas Dental College (RDC), S.A. Raja Pharmacy College (SARPC), Jeyamatha Engineering College (JEC), Sardar Raja College of Engineering (SRCE), Alangulam, J S Engineering College (JSEC) were started in various places of Tirunelveli & kanyakumari districts.
